So Not Fair.

The Hills Season 3 Premiere is Monday, August 13th.
One day after I leave the comfort of my Seattle shoebox. And access to cable.

And yes, sometimes I scare even myself.

A Duel of (Mediocre) Canadian Destinations

Who would win in a thumb war: Calgary or West Edmonton?

I say West Edmonton. Although Calgary is home to tons of cowboys and is considered the “Nashville of the North,” the people of West Edmonton could go buy larger thumbs at the West Edmonton Mall. Yep, that's what I think.

Portland Rock.

i saw shaky hands with BOAT last night at the vera project. BOAT rocked. shaky hands was good (exhibited below) but was mostly a little to earthy for me. i really liked this particular song though.

Stuck where the sun shines.

This past week Seattle was fortunate enough to receive weather that was above 70 degrees with sunshine to match. I ventured out to Madison Park yesterday with Seattle intern #3, and had time to note some things in the process.
  • Trader Joe’s is brilliant. The fact that I filled up a giant paper bag full of goodies for $28 is testament to how badly we need one in Austin.
  • Madison Park is a cheap place to wander around but an expensive place to eat. This one is pretty self-explanatory.
  • Public buses need to start accepting debit/credit cards as payment. Who carries cash, let alone change, anymore?
  • I am an open-minded person who will hang out with people I have very little in common with, whether or not this means that most of my day will be spent defending my hedonist ways. I also tell a lot of stories beginning with, “I read on the Internet the other day…”
