Stuck where the sun shines.
This past week Seattle was fortunate enough to receive weather that was above 70 degrees with sunshine to match. I ventured out to Madison Park yesterday with Seattle intern #3, and had time to note some things in the process.
- Trader Joe’s is brilliant. The fact that I filled up a giant paper bag full of goodies for $28 is testament to how badly we need one in Austin.
- Madison Park is a cheap place to wander around but an expensive place to eat. This one is pretty self-explanatory.
- Public buses need to start accepting debit/credit cards as payment. Who carries cash, let alone change, anymore?
- I am an open-minded person who will hang out with people I have very little in common with, whether or not this means that most of my day will be spent defending my hedonist ways. I also tell a lot of stories beginning with, “I read on the Internet the other day…”
