Watchmen for the illiterate?

Not sure how I feel about the Watchmen Motion Comics just yet, but the first chapter did serve as a nice refresher. Go to Entertainment Weekly's Watchmen page and get it for free for the next week. In the meantime, how painful is it going to be waiting until March of next year for this movie? VERY.

How infuriating is this?! I cannot believe Texas is officially allowing unqualified teachers with essentially zero background in religious studies to teach BIBLE CLASSES. What's that? These bible classes are really just history lessons? Oh, silly me. That makes teaching religion in public schools perfectly alright.

Joss Whedon's made for the internet sing-along show, "Dr. Horrible Sing-Along Blog" is up and running. Neil Patrick Harris plays a hilariously awkward Dr. Horrible but it also co-stars "Fireflys" Capt'n Reynolds!
