i'll bring the tupperware, you bring the plates

seattle-woodinville and back. my final commute.

yesterday was my last day of work. i didn't get entirely emotional until my female boss brought in her kids (ages 5 and 2) to say good-bye with well-wishes written on crayon-trashed construction paper. and then i was a mess. we were talking out in the warehouse and realized that i had started working for them when the oldest was still in diapers. now he walks around exasperated, insisting that everything "needs more salt" (which i believe is some pixar movie reference?)
life lightened up a bit when i noticed two jesus bumper stickers driving 405-south to return home. i hope that you enjoy them as much as i did.

1. a no ice-cream desert: SUNDAYS!
2. put jesus in his place! your life.

Those bumper stickers are abysmal. I love them.

Congrats on finishing up work. Three years is longer than I've worked in one place. (I can't even go to school for three years without feeling burnt out.)

Hey congrats to you! That day made me so sad. You have been a part of our family for so long and we enjoyed every minute with you! NOBODY can fill your shoes. I truly will miss your sense of humor and constant pokes at Tom. You have helped keep him grounded over the past years-it's all chaos now! BUT-we wish you the best!

HELP! Where's Monica? Have spent the last week running to the office for various machine malfunctions. Postage meter jammed (lid needed to be opened, then closed), printer broken (needed ink), and lastly copier/printer broken (needed to be PLUGGED in)! All in all, Anna is working out alright. She's not you, but hey, nothings been deleted yet! What's up with the dig about miserable Moms and Woodinville? You're still making me laugh! You wait! We miss you! Let us know if you need anything! (i'm thinking of sending my trust fund to you in the mail-it needs some Texan air)
