dear supercuts
(seeing as how so many people are writing letters these days, i might as well submit my own)
i just wanted to send you a letter letting you know what a great haircut i received today. and no, it wasn't at one of your fantastic "hip hairstyles at affordable prices" brick & mortar to-dos. it was instead at a nice hair shop here in austin. pretty similar to another hair shop i used to frequent in seattle, washington. the reason i am writing is to let you know that after years of patronizing your store and subsequently feeling as if i had inferior hair (especially grades 7-10) i write loud and proud for all to see- I AM NOT AFRAID. sure i came in with curls of reckless abandon and no time for discipline. sure my sister with the straight, thin hair was so much easier to cut. sure falling asleep with gum in your mouth doesn't happen to everyone but when it does it leaves a hunk of a mess for you to clean up. but today, rather than facing looks of dismay or disgust in the chair i was told with the honest wisdom of a real stylist that my hair was "fun." did you hear what i said? fun. as in exciting, adventurous, funny. not to be confused with funny-looking which, ironically enough, is exactly what i looked like walking out of your stores as a child.
so my point mr. cuts, is go find yourselves some decent hairdressers. a suggestion maybe? hairdressers that make everyone feel loved. not just the ones with straight hair.
sincerely,
curly hair in austin

Did you mean to make the joke with your signature's acronym? Because it's funny, so say you did, even if you didn't. But I suspect you did. It's too witty to be an accident.
